About Me
After graduating from Cal Poly(SLO), I began my career as a Software Engineer and dedicated a decade to the tech industry, honing my skills as a programmer. During this time I worked in both low level programming and user interface design. However, the demands of raising my three children led me to take a break from the professional world.
It was during this hiatus that I found the time to nurture my passion for photography. Interestingly, photography had always been a dream of mine during my college years, but I hadn't considered it a practical career choice back then.
As my children grew older, I decided to return to school. While pursuing a photography certification, I made an exciting discovery. I enrolled in a graphic design course and instantly fell in love with design. Thus, I made the decision to complete my photography certification while simultaneously pursuing an advanced certification in graphic design.
Presently, I am actively seeking opportunities as a Graphic Designer. I am passionate about refining my skills in this field and continuing to explore the art of photography. My ultimate goal is to work collaboratively with professionals in the tech industry, bridging the gap between designers and engineers. With my unique background as a former programmer, I believe I can provide valuable insights and perspectives to create innovative and user-friendly tech solutions.
